ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director, Procurement Global Portfolio Lead - Paper & Printed Materials at SC Johnson, you'll manage a global procurement strategy for paper and printed materials with technical and supply complexity. Use your skills to develop and lead strategic alliances with suppliers to assure supply continuity and deliver on cost improvements, innovations and sustainability goals while managing potential risks. The Procurement Director reports to the Sr. Director of the Portfolio and oversees a category spend of approximately $400 to $500 million.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the global strategy for global paper and printed materials from end-to-end from baseline measurements and cost modeling all the way through supplier selection and contract negotiationDrive continuous improvements resulting in elimination of portfolio complexity and redundancy, product innovation, sustainability, speed-to-market and supply assurancePartner with key cross-functional teams to align on long-term strategies that deliver business growth through innovation and Delivered Profit Margin optimizationDemonstrate current knowledge of global/regional supply markets and commodity trends to communicate forecasts and market dynamics to key internal stakeholdersLead and manage projects such as commodity harmonization, standardization programs, specification optimization, complexity reduction, new product launches, etc.Support organizational strategies for e-commerce, sustainability initiatives and more to ensure leadership through consumer-packaged goods trendsLead and develop internal team to drive results on all procurement initiativesDevelop Should Cost Models, Clean Sheet, TCO, Supply and Demand Analysis to drive global strategy, supplier selections and Delivered Profit margin improvementREQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering/Business/Finance or related degree10+ years of relevant experience within Supply Chain, Finance, RDE and/or ProcurementPeople management experiencePREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

5+ years of CPG industry experienceStrong Financial Acumen and Influencing SkillsAbility to collaborate cross functionally and interface with multiple levels of both internal and external organizationsKnowledgeable in current and future policies, trends, tech and information impacting the business and organization; knows how the business and competition works.Project Management - Ability to develop and drive an agenda of sustainable changes to the organization.Constructs compelling development plans, executes them and encourages people to take roles which expand their career development.Demonstrated ability to analyze all types of data and present results effectivelyJOB REQUIREMENTS
