About the Role:

The ADI Industrial Team (Wilmington, MA) is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer, Systems Design/Architecture Engineering with high speed, fine-line analog CMOS experience for the IC development of new products. The candidate will collaborate in evolving an industry leading the Industrial portfolio into new and more highly integrated market segments. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop system level designs on chiplets working with high-speed analog BiCMOS SiGe and fine line CMOS processes and collaborate closely with an experienced and motivated development team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual and with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and integration of broadband communications subsystems.Develop and implement multi-GHz digital communication systems.Integrate RF ADCs/DACs and specify data converters for wideband digital communication systems.Perform block-level calibration of data converters.Conduct mixed-mode system calibration of subsystems and converters.Manage multi-channel synchronization and crosstalk.Qualifications:

BSEE required, MSEE preferred.7+ years of experience in system design/architecture engineering and design integration.Expertise in SERDES, RF CMOS, or data converter design.Experience with FinFET (16nm, 5nm) or fine-line planar analog CMOS (28 nm).Proficiency in software-defined CMOS communications or radar system design.Knowledge of digitally-assisted high-speed analog design.Excellent presentation and writing/communication skills.Preferred Skills:

Leadership experience in broadband communications subsystem projects.Strong understanding of multi-GHz digital communications.Proven track record in integrating RF ADCs/DACs.Experience in specifying and calibrating data converters for wideband digital communication systems.Ability to manage multi-channel synchronization and crosstalk effectively.
