My client is a global CRO expanding across the world. They have established a United States business that operates as a separate entity partnering with domestic Biotech and Pharma Companies. They are at the forefront of innovation in cell/gene therapy, offering a comprehensive suite of services including plasmid production, fill-finish, and QC analytical services. Their mission is to accelerate the development of groundbreaking therapies and provide exceptional support to their clients in the gene therapy field.

Job Description

My client is seeking a talented and driven Technical Account Manager to join their dynamic team and support Business Development activities on the East Coast. You will provide exceptional technical guidance to their customers. In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between their cutting-edge solutions and the needs of their clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and support. This is not a sales role, but you will be working very closely with BD team.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Advice:

Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, addressing inquiries with expert advice and problem-solving skills. Provide detailed explanations of our services and solutions.Solution Crafting:

Work closely with customers to understand their project requirements and challenges. Develop tailored solutions and recommendations to meet their specific needs.Collaboration with Business Development:

Partner with the Business Development team to support new and existing customers, strategize approaches, and support the closing of new business.Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support.Market & Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and developments in cell and gene therapy. Continuously update your knowledge to provide relevant and current advice.Industry Networking:

The Successful Applicant

Ph.D. in relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology).1+ years of industry experience in CGT space, Post-Doc candidates are also acceptableProven experience within the life sciences or biotechnology sector, with a strong background in cell/gene therapy preferred.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design and propose effective solutions.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.Experience with project management and working collaboratively with colleaguesAbility to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.Bilingual in Mandarin is required.What's on Offer
