Sr. Product Marketing Manager, (PCIe and CXL interfaces)

Cadence Silicon Solutions Group is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Product Marketing Manager for its PCIe and CXL Controller IP portfolio. The ideal candidate will have prior successful design experience in PCI Express and CXL and have worked in a product management/product marketing role.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Drive PCIe and CXL Controller IP/products roadmap and definition based on market research, competitive analysis, market segmentation, and SWOT analysis
Define and execute a competitive marketing strategy for PCIe and CXL Controller IP products by understanding customer roadmaps and industry requirements in collaboration with SerDes marketing and engineering
Work with sales, engineering, program management and application engineering to drive product success at various customers
Develop marketing requirements and work with engineering teams to define a controller product portfolio
Lead development of technical marketing and sales collateral
Author and produce competitive sales tools in the form of presentations and briefs
Communicate and evangelize products at industry events and on social media
Ability to develop or recognize creative solutions to opportunities and problems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
5+ years of experience in hardware of IP design with emphasis on PCIe and CXL interfaces
Demonstrate aptitude to quickly comprehend complex hardware and software solutions
3+ years of experience a product marketing organization
Additional Preferred Qualifications
MBA (Masters in Business Administration) or MS in a technical field with solid business aptitude is desired but not a hard requirement
Understanding of consumer and automotive and applications
Integration of PCIe and CXL IP in SoC and board/package interactions
Participation in PCI-SIG and CXL Consortium
Knowledge of the PCI-SIG compliance program
Experience in one or more of the following (in addition to knowledge of PCIe and CXL) is highly desired: NVMe, AMBA standards (AXI, CHI, CXS etc.)
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Past employment in a customer-facing role

The annual salary range for California is $150,500 to $279,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. Our benefits programs include: paid vacation and paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer match, employee stock purchase plan, a variety of medical, dental and vision plan options, and more.
