The NP or PA will: perform comprehensive health assessments; initiate referrals and consultations with physicians and other health providers; perform, order and/or interpret diagnostic studies within the scope of practice of the collaborating physician; provide case management for a select group of patients in conjunction with the collaborating physician; manage patients within established standards of care within Student Health; provide patient education which is interactive and meets the unique needs and values of each patient.
