The impact you will make in our faith-based, mission-driven culture will cultivate excellence and achieve professional fulfillment united in humankindness.As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Qualifications:In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following:Education RequirementsAssociates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsementBachelors Degree in Nursing preferredGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNsExperience RequirementsOne year experience preferredNursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialtyLicenses/Certification RequirementsRN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure CompactPhysical RequirementsMedium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Your Connected Community:At CommonSpirit Mountain Region, we believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness.The Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Francis Medical Center, an achieved Magnet hospital, contains 46 private rooms that can care for 52 babies, as early as 23 weeks old. Our department has two couplet rooms in the NICU where qualifying moms and late-preterm babies can be admitted together for their care. We care for neonates and infants up to 44 weeks of age and we do not get any overflow patients. Our department offers great teamwork, opportunities for growth, advancement of skills and also extracurricular activities with the team. We look for candidates that we can mentor into charge and leadership roles, and that share our passion of caring for babies and their families, and for making a difference in the families lives during a stressful time. A great attitude, eagerness to learn, motivation, compassion and kindness are qualities we must find in a candidate.
