The Capital Campaign Manager will provide leadership, strategy, and planning on the capital campaign for our new Denver-area distribution center, with a fundraising goal of $25M.

The Capital Campaign Manager is responsible for campaign strategy including establishing solicitation priorities, managing prospect lists, developing and executing targeted cultivation plans and solicitation strategies for a range of projects. This position will prepare and provide support to staff, board members, and volunteers for solicitation and planning and managing campaign-related events.

This position is a term limited role based on the campaign timeline with an estimated completion date of June 2026.

Primary Responsibilities:

Campaign ManagementIn partnership with organizational leadership, develop and implement campaign strategy, internal systems, and accountabilitiesWork with campaign team to project manage all aspects of the campaign by utilizing, updating, and monitoring the campaign plan and timelineUpdate, manage and oversee actions with the prospect pipeline (moves management tool)

Develop, communicate, and follow-up on recommended actions and follow up to leadership, development staff and committeeUpdate and maintain the prospect grid

Create and update campaign proposals and opportunities as needed and prepare donor briefings for leadership, volunteers and colleagues

Coordinate and manage research of campaign prospects

Oversee and lead campaign integration with donor database and CRM by ensuring input of actions, quality contacts and gift/pledge entries by the database specialist team and frontline fundraisersProduce monthly campaign reportsManage the administration and record keeping of campaign gifts including pledge forms, Enterprise Zone Tax Credit administration, pledges due, and donor recognition agreements. Ensure timely acknowledgement of all campaign gifts and pledges including preparation of pledge payment reminders and pledge agreementsManage capital campaign budget tracking and reporting both non-building expenditures and contributed revenueIn collaboration with the CFO, produce regular financial forecasting reports to inform the New Markets Tax Credit reportingCommittee and Solicitor Support

Provide management of the Capital Campaign Committee, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, capturing meeting notes, and ensuring timely follow-up after committee meetings and interactionsCreate systems of accountability for the Capital Campaign Committee and schedule regular interactions to ensure members are supported and moving solicitations forward Provide prospect briefings for all donor meetings and solicitationsPrepare materials for prospect interactions and send bi-weekly emails to the committee to record actions and updatesSchedule meetings, prepare and provide talking points, presentations, and support to staff, board members, and campaign volunteers for major gift solicitationsManage Board of Directors campaign engagement including communications, meetings/presentations and systems/trackingProspect and Donor Relations

Plan and implement campaign-related cultivation and stewardship events, including hard hat toursFacilitate creating and updating of campaign materials as needed, including donor updates, campaign case for support, talking points, recognition opportunities, etc. in coordination with the communications teamManage execution of campaign donor recognition by ensuring all recognition is documented in Raiser’s Edge and that that all donors receive strong communication and follow through regarding their individual recognition and associated deliverablesAssist the Grants Manager as needed with production and submission of foundation grant requests for campaign fundingAssist the Corporate Relations team in creating solicitation plans and customized proposals for corporate campaign prospectsPlan and implement broad-based campaign activities during the public phase of campaign, including mailings, website presence, media relations, etc.Develop and implement donor recognition plans, including written reports, donor wall, celebration event, etc.Manage the application, renewal, and ongoing certification process associated with the Enterprise Zone Tax Credit and Enterprise Zone programRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or comparable experienceSeven or more years fundraising experience preferred with capital campaign management and major gift solicitation experience highly desiredExperience managing a volunteer fundraising committeeExtensive experience in Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising databaseExpected Hours of Work:

This is an exempt, full time position. Work schedules may vary each week and consist of weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays. A flexible work schedule is available with the option to work remotely.
