Job Duties
Work with multiple data assets to merge, create analysis and extract insightBuild predictive models with AI / Machine Learning techniquesCommunicate key insights to support business objectivesReceives general supervision and guidance from more experienced team members.Follows department processes, procedures and client requirements; may make recommendations and/or implement improvements/solutions.Utilizes tools to compile, query and analyze data according to defined business roles and procedures. May produce reports from various data sources (external and internal) to provide business stakeholders actionable information or business intelligence.Tracks project information, follows up on issue status, resolves routine issues, reports status to management.Participates in Internship Program activities and events to include: onboarding, educational activities, information sessions, product demos and social events.Provides general administrative support as needed.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.Job Qualifications:
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university, or equivalent boot camp program.Minimum three years of relevant coursework completed by time of internship or equivalent boot camp program work.Preferred minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalentPrior internship or co-op experience preferredParticipation in campus activities related to field preferredDemonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experienceAssignment Specific Experience
Experience with analytic tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or other statistical based programmingQA and analyze large amounts of data to create appropriate data sets for solution buildingConduct defined quantitative and qualitative research projects and communicates research results to internal stakeholdersAbility to learn and maintain knowledge of processes, procedures and products of Science and AnalyticsAbility to work within a cross-functional team and matrix management structureStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service orientation; strong interpersonal abilitiesSolid analytical capability; ability to exercise sound judgment; strong decision-making skillsStrong attention to detail; high degree of quality orientationStrong organization and prioritization skills; ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environmentAbility to take direction from multiple people; ability to flex to the work styles of othersAbility to be a collaborative team player in a fast paces/changing environment; self-motivated and directedSolid project management capabilities; strong business acumen; strong fiscal aptitudeStrong technical aptitude. Our internships are only offered during the Summer and are paid on an hourly basis within a range of $22.50/hour- $28/hour.
