Join us and discover why Micron's Global Procurement team is the preferred destination to unleash your talent As a Category Supplier Management Intern, you will be learning about developing a category strategy for managed categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and the respective internal partners and stakeholders. You will be assisting with strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and execute negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Key Responsibilities include: Cost Management & Analysis Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal stakeholders Utilize should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace Category Management & Strategic Sourcing Implement processes to monitor stakeholder satisfaction with key suppliers. Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categories. Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal-setting.
