BASIC FUNCTION:
The Director of Digital Equity will be assigned a portfolio of strategy and grants implementation work and is responsible for developing workflows, building capabilities, and providing oversight of tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will direct and support effective implementation of the Digital Equity program portfolio with digital equity-focused organizations and a diverse range of stakeholders such as private and academic entities, non-profit groups, coalitions, and philanthropic partners across each region of the State.Responsibilities include developing effective applications, designing scoring criteria, supporting grantee selection, and program evaluation to elevate effective grants management and administration of the Digital Equity Grant Program, which is complex, fast paced, multi-stakeholder informed, and includes strategic technical assistance resourcing (60% of effort).
WORK PERFORMED:Advance development of ConnectALL's comprehensive asset inventory for tracking and reporting impacts across required measurable objectives for all Covered Populations, and includes identifying best practices in digital equity and adoption programming to be replicated or expanded (15% of effort)Regularly engage with State and local government agencies to coordinate digital equity initiatives with related State priorities such as economic and workplace development, racial equity, education, health, civic engagement, and more (10% of effort).Represent the Digital Equity program portfolio internally through preparation of briefing materials for leadership, Executive Chamber, and other State agency stakeholders, including policy recommendations (5% of effort).Contribute to ongoing research direction, planning, analysis and reporting of all Digital Equity portfolio activities against defined and evolving digital equity goals (5% of effort).Oversee internal documentation relating to contracts and the procurement of contract services and other tasks as needed to effectively implement ConnectALL's Digital Equity program portfolio (5% of effort).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level Required : Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred. Associate's degree with 7 years, direct relevant experience may substitute.
Relevant Experience required : A minimum of five (5) years of work experience with significant direct experience in one or more of the following fields: economic development, government, strategic or urban planning, public administration, community organizing, procurement of public services, grants administration, or related business or not-for profit area. Direct program implementation or grant portfolio oversight experience as well as prior experience with large scale stakeholder or public engagement or grant programs.
APPROXIMATE HIRING SALARY:
$90,000 to $100,000
