CURRENT HOLLAND HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES- Please apply through Find Jobs from your Workday employee account.The OR Nurse works in accordance with a multidisciplinary team in various roles, including helping set up OR according to type of procedure; circulates the room as the surgeon and trained team operates; transfers patient from pre-procedure to OR and from OR to recovery room. Requires responsibility for: following and carrying out established operating room standards of care, policies and procedures; understands sterility and proper handling and use of instrumentation, supplies, and equipment.The RN is responsible for the provision and coordination of patient centered care. The RN coordinates care to achieve desired outcomes, delegates and works cooperatively and collaboratively with ancillary nursing and other members of the healthcare team in maintaining policy and practice standards. The RN is also accountable to practice in accordance with the Michigan Public Health Code Act 368 of 1978, Article 15 (Health Occupations), Part 172 (Nursing).
