As the Director, Professional Services you will play a critical role in integrating and leading our global professional services team. You will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients and driving business growth/profitability. This leader will report to the Vice President, Global Sales Operations, and the ideal candidate will bring holistic business insight and business acumen to build this critical capability for ResMed.

Let’s Talk About Responsibilities

Shape, develop and integrate the functions within professional services to foster a collaborative and high performing team culture

Lead, mentor and inspire a team of professionals responsible for solutions architecting, implementations and customer success

Adapt our commercial strategy into a business plan for the professional services organization, serving as a trusted advisor to internal business functions while developing and maintaining strong relationships

Align the professional services team on strategic metrics that will track financial performance, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and resource allocation

Partner with the Sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop compelling proposals that showcase the value proposition of our services

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive business results

Develop a deep understanding of our solutions and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans for clients

Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while exceeding client expectations

Stay current on industry trends, ensure the team has the necessary technical expertise to deliver on client requirements and implement relevant strategies to enhance service offerings

Responsible for ensuring that the department understands and complies with all required standards (e.g. information security, privacy, SOX, etc)

Continuously evaluate and improve Professional Services processes to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and client satisfaction

Champion a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team

Let’s Talk About Required Qualifications and Experience

10+ years of experience in professional services that spans sales engineering, implementations and customer success

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical solutions, driving commercial success, and enhancing customer relationships

7+ years of leadership experience, managing and developing professional services teams

Deep technical expertise in a related domain to our product space and well versed in integrations and interoperability topics (e.g. API, HL7, FHIR)

Familiarity with industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and influence stakeholders

Ability to engage with and sell into varied levels of stakeholders, from clinical users to C-Suite level
