People Development Partner

As a People Development Partner on Stripe’s People Development team (part of the Talent & Development org), you will play an instrumental role in developing Stripes through a variety of user-focused learning programs and experiences. This person will have broad expertise in the people development space, including content design and development, program management, project management, and virtual and IRL facilitation. The ideal candidate is a highly proactive self-motivator who has a pulse on the latest trends in talent development and a proven track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating exceptional learning experiences aligned to business strategy.What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

Learning experience designOwn the learning experience design process end-to-end from intake to deliveryLeverage a users-first, data-driven approach to design highly relevant, highly impactful People Development product offerings that support Stripe’s strategySupport key Stripe initiatives by owning, designing, and developing suites of enablement assets including job aids, manager guides, and live/virtual training sessionsPartner with Stripe leaders to operationalize Stripe’s strategy and culture through People Development productsProgram managementArchitect and execute programs and experiences that support Stripe employees at global scale and at different career momentsManage People Development programs end-to-end, including designing, marketing, facilitating, and evaluating program contentQualitatively and quantitatively assess and improve the effectiveness of programs to demonstrate impact in line with business objectivesProject managementCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts during the design and development process, establishing project timelines, addressing user feedback, and ensuring alignment, engagement, and expectation managementConsult with business leaders to understand their needs and solicit their input, appropriate sponsorship, engagement, and alignmentFacilitationFacilitate and/or work with facilitators to deliver ongoing developmental experiences (primarily virtually via Zoom, some IRL)Who you are

5-8+ years of experience in relevant L&D and/or leadership development rolesExtensive experience navigating ambiguity and building effective solutions that scale (experience designing learning experiences in a high-growth environment a plus)Deep knowledge of adult learning principles to deliver large-scale development programs and interventionsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience leveraging technology to curate and deliver high-impact learningExperience building in a variety of learning formats: ILT (live and virtual) and on-demandDemonstrated expertise in using data to inform decisions on effectiveness of development experiences - and an understanding of what creates both learning and behavior change resulting in measurable improvementDemonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholdersAdvanced project management capabilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, and highly collaborative environmentStrong virtual and in-person facilitation experiencePreferred qualifications

Experience working with learning and development vendors, including managing existing relationships and developing new onesExperience with eLearning development and graphic design (experience with Articulate 360 and Google Suite preferred)Understanding of how learning technologies impact the user experienceComprehensive knowledge of design thinking and design thinking processesThe annual US base salary range for this role is $134,000 - $201,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
