Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead and manage our nursing department across multiple facilities/states. This person will drive excellence in patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Chief Nursing Officer (CNO):

Oversee the nursing departments across all facilities, ensuring high standards of patient care and efficient operations. Provide strategic direction and leadership to nursing staff and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and accreditation standards.

Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure efficient utilization of nursing services.

Develop, review, and enforce nursing policies and procedures.

Drive the adoption of new technologies and practices to improve nursing care and operational efficiency. Stay abreast of industry trends and implement best practices.

Qualifications of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO):

Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administration (Doctorate preferred).

Active RN license in New Jersey.

5+ years in senior leadership role in skilled nursing or long-term care.

Proven leadership skills with a track record of improving patient care and operation efficiency.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
