an experienced and strategic VP, Corporate

Controller

to lead our global accounting and financial reporting functions. This role is essential for ensuring financial information's accuracy, integrity, and compliance across our international organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will provide strategic financial insights to drive decision-making at the highest levels. You will oversee all aspects of domestic and international accounting, timely reporting of accurate monthly financial results, and the professional development of our global accounting team. As the VP of Corporate Controller, you will inherit a capable team and have the chance to lead and develop it further, positioning our company for continued global success.Establish Robust Accounting Policies and ControlsWithin the first six months, develop and implement clear and comprehensive accounting policies and controls that align with global standards (GAAP, IFRS) across all business units. Ensure these policies are well-documented and communicated to all relevant stakeholders. Success will be measured by the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, the effectiveness of internal controls, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.Develop and Implement a Strategic Financial Reporting PackageWithin the first 90 days, design and roll out a comprehensive financial reporting package, including a board book with detailed results and variance analysis. This package should be implemented company-wide and include automated processes for efficiency. The effectiveness of this objective will be demonstrated by the quality and timeliness of financial reports and their utility in supporting strategic decisions at the executive level.Lead the Launch of an International MarketOver the first year, plan and execute the launch of a new international market.

This

involves developing and implementing accounting procedures, processes, and controls specific to the new market. This initiative will require close collaboration with the CFO and other executive leaders to ensure alignment with the company's global strategy. Success will be indicated by the smooth entry into the new market, adherence to local regulatory requirements, and the ability to maintain international financial consistency.Essential Functions:Strategic Financial Leadership

: Collaborate with the CFO and other executives to develop financial strategies that drive the company's global growth objectives. Provide expert analysis to optimize economic performance and guide the company through complex financial decisions, including ownership structure and equity management. You support ownership administration and collaborate with the tax department.Global Financial Reporting and Accounting

: Lead the preparation and consolidation of accurate and timely financial statements. Ensure all international entities meet the required accounting standards and reporting deadlines. Direct the strategic development of the ERP system to enhance financial reporting efficiency and automation.Accounting Operations and Internal Controls

: Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, inventory, accounts payable, and payroll. Develop and enforce a robust system of internal controls to minimize financial risk. Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance across all jurisdictions.Financial Analysis

: Conduct monthly financial and operational reviews, delivering actionable insights to executive leadership. Prepare detailed financial reports, including management discussion and analysis (MD&A), to guide strategic decision-making.Team Leadership

: Mentor and develop a global accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Ensure the team is well-equipped to support the company's international growth, with a focus on skill development and effective collaboration across different cultures and time zones.Performance-Based Qualifications for VP, Corporate ControllerGlobal Accounting Leadership:

12+ years of progressive experience in accounting and Finance, with at least

3

years in a corporate controller or similar role at a multinational

company,

and 6+ years in public accounting.Performance Expectation

: Successfully led the accounting functions for a global organization, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS across multiple jurisdictions. You have demonstrated the ability to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy by at least 15% within the first year.Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.Performance Expectation
