Dental Care Alliance’s mission is to advance the practice of dentistry by partnering with and supporting dental professionals to create a lifetime of healthy smiles. Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, DCA currently supports over 400 allied practices and supports over 900 dentists across 24 states. DCA’s allied practices represent all dental specialties and treat patients under more than 150 brand names.

Summary/Objectives:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic healthcare leader to join our leadership team as Senior Vice President of Field Operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a high-performing team to achieve operational excellence across all DCA affiliated locations. You will be a key member of the management team, partnering with leadership across the organization to drive strategic growth initiatives and ensure exceptional patient experience. All DCA field employees will report through the SVP function, with 3 Division Presidents and VP of Integration as direct reports. The SVP must develop strong relationships between operating and clinical teams and connect each to the overall mission of Dental Care Alliance, ultimately Empowering Providers, Prioritizing Patients, and Improving Communities.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for all field operations, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and objectives.

Oversee regional operations, including performance management, budget development, and staffing plans across all offices.

Develop and implement office-based operational plans that optimize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness, tailoring each office plans to office dynamics.

Create accountability to actions needed and ultimate performance.

Champion continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives to enhance service delivery, quality of care, and patient satisfaction.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical leaders and doctor partners.

Foster a culture of positivity, accountability, community, and innovation within the field operations team.

Analyze data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, measure performance, and drive operational improvements.

Through analysis of KPI’s, support field and clinical teams with identification of issues and opportunities impacting their offices; partner with teams to support improvement/growth for each.

Manage and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Examine office workflows, creating standards for patient & employee experience – measure adherence to standards set.

Plan structured pilot programs for new areas of opportunity; scale across enterprise if successful.

Improve patient scheduling processes to maximize opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in a leadership role within the healthcare or dental industry.

Proven track record of success in leading and managing large, geographically dispersed teams.

Strong understanding of healthcare operations, including patient care delivery, provider dynamics, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement models.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with ability to develop relationships with various constituent groups.

Ability to travel extensively – 50%+ anticipated travel required.

Bachelor’s Degree Required.

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or a related field (preferred).
