Position Responsibilities
The Senior Associate will join the Firm's growing Investor Communications Department which serves as a key point of contact to the Firm’s investor base. This role requires a motivated individual with a proactive approach to working with other team members and departments, who has the ability to manage tight deadlines and also brings impeccable attention to detail.
Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Taking the lead on calls with internal and external legal partners
Overseeing the onboarding and maintenance of investor accounts, including the collection and analysis of legal documentation
Providing guidance, development and training to other members of the team as the first point of escalation
Handling / reviewing subscription documents, fund legal documents and Anti-Money Laundering/KYC documentation
Overseeing and driving urgency to aid critical Investor Communications projects
Managing the internal review of onboarding documentation for new and existing funds
Reviewing information entered into the CRM databases by junior team members
Corresponding with other back-office teams on day-to-day and ad-hoc activity
Monitoring team metrics, capacity and shifting priorities as needed
Providing oversight on team deliverables, and ensuring timely execution
Motivating the team during periods of high volumes, and maintaining a positive culture
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of related experience
Proven leader with ability to motivate team members, especially during periods of high investor volumes
Strong understanding of KYC requirements and/or CIMA AML is a plus
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Experience managing direct reports is required
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Proficient in MS Office products, specifically Word and Excel
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a strong plus
