This role demands 8-10 years of SAP experience, particularly in S/4HANA finance modules (GL, CO, FM, AP, AR, AM). The consultant should have strong knowledge in intercompany accounting, RAR integration, cost allocation, and Group Reporting. The candidate must be adept at writing functional specifications, understanding SAP blueprints, and working under pressure on fast-paced projects.
Lead project implementations as a General Ledger Lead, ensuring integration with Funds Management and Grants Management.
Provide functional and configuration expertise in SAP FI and CO modules.
Conduct user requirements gathering, blueprinting, and documentation.
Ensure integrity of SAP finance configuration across multiple landscapes.
Lead workshops to demonstrate SAP module functionality and best practices.
Develop and document master data and process designs.
Coordinate with technical developers and assist customers with testing, issue resolution, and training.
Manage module scope, identify risks, and mentor junior consultants.
The Senior SAP Finance Consultant (GL/CO) is responsible for leading the implementation of SAP finance solutions, particularly focusing on migrating from ECC to S/4HANA. This role requires deep expertise in SAP finance modules and experience in the public sector or state government.
