A banquet server will fulfill The Pacific Club's standards of execution of banquets. Banquet servers are knowledgeable of Banquet Event Order (BEO) in a timely and accurate process. They serve food and beverages and fulfill member/guests requests in a polished manner. They will perform assigned duties and side work while promoting teamwork and efficiency. They communicate with supervisors to promote an efficient and safe work environment and assure that the best service is achieved in all functions.Executes a BEO for their event. Ensuring the event is set prior to its start.Delivers all food & beverage service on time and with accuracySupports the overall success of the department by completing tasks relevant to his/her role at the request of his/her team members or any managerAdheres to all service standards as outlined in the Food & Beverage Service ManualAbility to work independently with great initiative, while taking advantage and promoting teamworkPromotes teamwork with the service staff and bartenders fulfilling customer needs during their dining experience.Communicates concerns, guests’ requests, safety, and personal requests to supervisors in a timely manner.Is knowledgeable of Club-related informationAdhere to grooming and uniform standardsRequirementsEducation Requirements/PreferredRequired: High School Graduate or General Education DegreeWork Experience Required/PreferredMinimum of 1-2 years in banquet servicePrevious customer service experience a plusRequired Certification(s)Food Handler CertificationRequired current COVID vaccination and/or Letter of Exception
