Who you are:

Geotab is seeking a Government Affairs Manager who will be responsible for National Security Solutions and Strategic Commercial Compliance (NSS + SCC) providing support by promoting Geotab’s US legislative agenda, and displaying subject matter expertise in regulations affecting our strategic objectives and NSS products and features.

What you'll do:

Support US Legislative Agenda. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to calibrate and coordinate our legislative objectives.

Develop and deploy internal regulatory expertise. Track developments and announcements from U.S. regulatory authorities.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal professionals, to develop and maintain insights based on the current regulatory climate.

Identify regulatory basis, and determine appropriate scope, for all NSS + SCC activities.

What you'll bring to the role:

5- 8 years of experience with CA, US & EU legal and regulatory processes.

Legislative and Executive government affairs expertise required.

Comfortable managing spreadsheets, google sheets, data trends and data lookups.

Experience working within a technical/engineering organization an asset.

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.

Ability to travel 10% of the time; ability to travel internationally is required.
