Director of Finance NOW HIRING!

Job DescriptionResponsible for the overall leadership, direction & management of Finance/Accounting & Revenue Office operations and staff; implementation & management of applicable internal controls; prepare reports & provide presentations for the Board & community by performing high-level administrative, technical & professional work.

Requirements

Education:

BA/BS in Accounting

Experience:

Seven (7) years related experience in automated financial/accounting systems, including five (5) years supervisory experience or equivalent combination.

Certifications:

CPA certified or MBA preferred with five (5) years public sector experience also preferred.

Skills:

Strong computer & presentation skills with thorough knowledge of current public sector principles, practices & methods of accounting, auditing & budgeting.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of FASB & GASB pronouncements & the rules/preparation of financial statements that comply.

Additional:

Knowledge of Tyler Enterprise system and experience with Nevada specific reporting requirements is a plus.

Salary:

$214,000 - $230,000/yr. DOE/DOQ & includes a fantastic benefits package.
