The Director of Strategic Transformation is responsible for collaborating with corporate and regional executives, business unit leaders, corporate teams, and leaders in the field to ensure that MPG is well-positioned for accelerated growth and in-year performance.
The Director will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve financial performance, operating practices, and patient care, and will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and performance improvement across MPG. In collaboration with our corporate executive team and operating leaders, this individual will assess new business opportunities, and implement new business initiatives.
This leader will bring outstanding business judgement, expertise in rigorous analytics, superb communication skills, and strong operating instincts to assess performance, identify opportunities, and drive change throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate will have:
3 to 5 years in a strategic leadership role
Experience with both operational and consultative roles
Deep understanding of industry trend analysis, emerging technologies to help drive innovation
Successful track record of assessing various business units and implementing new business initiatives
Strong relationship development skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
Effective change management skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business management, Healthcare field, Life Sciences, or related field; master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in healthcare, with a focus on analysis and program implementation.
5+ years of managerial experience. • 3+ years in healthcare consulting or investment banking preferred.
Proficient in common Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience in SQL and/or Tableau or similar programs is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects and initiatives.
Ability to approach assigned duties in a highly organized, detailed, and accurate manner.
Excellent oral/written communication, organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work closely with corporate executives, regional vice presidents, practice leadership, corporate teams, and clinical and administrative staff.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
