Our program, Market Outreach Data System (MODS), sits within Civic Tech and services the Office of Communication within the Center for Medicare and Medicaid.About the role:We are seeking a seasoned writer and editor with a background in health communication, public health, and/or email marketing who will work hand in hand with our external Content Team. You will draft and review short and longer form email and SMS campaigns, ensuring that they are engaging, comprehensive, accessible, and actionable.In this position you will:Work in collaboration with content partners to write, edit, and proofread email and SMS communications related to healthcare.gov.Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for email and SMS campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and audience needs.Provide mentorship and oversight to a small team of writers, enhancing copy quality.Conduct thorough reviews of content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in health communication and email marketing.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop new campaigns.What we are seeking:3+ years of experience as a content manager specializing in healthcare communications or email marketing.Strong comfort in working with stakeholders and external partners.Organized and detail-oriented, comfortable creating processes.Strong writing and editorial skills with expertise in translating complex policy into easy-to-understand content.Experience developing health education materials.Ability to successfully attain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation.What We Offer:Salary: $85,000 annuallyPremier health, dental, and vision insurance plans401K matchingUnlimited paid time offPaid personal and volunteer leave13 paid holidays15 weeks paid parental leaveProfessional development stipend & tuition reimbursementMacbook Pro laptop & tech accessoriesFlexible working hoursRemote friendly (within the U.S.)BlueLabs strongly encourages all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to beginning employment.At BlueLabs, we celebrate, support and thrive on differences.
