Job Summary

The Financial Planning & Analysis Director will oversee all aspects of the financial, planning and analysis function. This individual will be a valued business partner to executives, Facility Executive Director’s and other corporate department leaders by providing actionable data and analysis to make wise business decisions. This position will be responsible for leading the company budget process and compiling the annual operating and capital budgets. This position will periodically develop forecasts and projections during the fiscal year to more accurately predict the performance of the company based on current data and updated assumptions. This position will be required to issue monthly operating reports (MORs) to the business owners’ that shows the financial performance of the individual facility/department relative to budget. Various ad hoc requests from business owners will also be fielded by this position to provide data and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fully manage, direct and produce the company’s annual operating and capital budgets to include income statements, balance sheets and statements of cash flow.

Implement and manage efficient processes for forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and KPI reporting to meet timelines for Finance and Operations.

Partner with Operational leaders and Facility Executive Director’s to develop the company’s department and facility level budgets for the upcoming year.

Create and manage forecasting models for revenue, labor, financial statements and capital expenditures based on historical trends.

Provide content as directed by CFO for quarterly board presentations.

Monitor the organizational spending to ensure it is within the budget each month.

Work with IT to validate data integrity for key operating metrics, maintain dashboards and create new reporting as needed.

Provide oversight and key metric tracking for current strategic initiatives.

Build pro forma financial models for strategic initiatives and potential acquisitions.

Other Job Duties – As Assigned by CFO, Controller or other department heads.

Education/Experience:

MBA in Finance or Accounting preferred or Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting with FP&A experience.

10 years FP&A experience is required.

Power BI or Tableau experience is required.

Experience in multi-location healthcare setting is required.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.

Working knowledge of Adaptive, SalesForce, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google docs and Gmail.
