Brand New!Position Summary:Provide comprehensive support for the design, reconfiguration, relocation and increasing/downsizing of office space and similar facilities. Furniture, office equipment and furnishings included.Provide technical expert advice, guidance, and assistance to the client on matters dealing with

Consolidated Furniture Management Services (CFMS)

to support all GSA OIG construction and leasing build out projects, alterations to improve space efficiency and space utilization projects, and updating of Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) (Required).Coordinate and integrate the planning, programming scheduling, and inspection of space management projects. Assess Client requirements; develop, plan, schedule and evaluate all project activities.Develop a combination of reports, meetings, site inspections and other appropriate means of documentation related to Space Planning including developing Furniture Plans, Furniture Specifications, Timeline Requirements, and Presentations.Plan and direct a project or a group of related tasks, utilizing project management tools to manage tasks, resources, schedules, budgets, and changes in scope.Coordinate the development of project plans and scope planning, the execution of design and construction, and the overall direction of the project.Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and cost estimated for building and construction projects, relocations, and furniture projects for approval by the Contracting Officer’s Representative and Government Technical Monitors.Provide technical advice, guidance, and assistance on matters dealing with office relocation and space requirements.Coordinating and integrating the planning, programming, scheduling, and management of resources for space relocations. Produces CAD drawings showing office layouts, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, etc. to use in planning reconfiguration of office and utility space within the facility.

High PriorityManage and update Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFAM) database information and produce reports and analysis that enable GSA OIG to monitor, audit, evaluate and modify the use of facilities space to manage its property assets more efficiently and effectively.

High PriorityParticipate in space walkthroughs and responsible for the validation and update of occupancy metrics in spreadsheets and database.Assist in the management of logistics of interior renovations and furniture installation.

High PriorityDevelop feasibility studies, space forecasting and building analyses.

High PriorityDevelop furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) solutions for planning, architectural and interior designs.

High PriorityManage services designing and installing systems for furniture and related inventories, including warehouse and property disposal management.

High PriorityManage the planning, implementation and allocation of resources and activities of facilities and capital construction projects to ensure project completion within timelines, contract specifications and budget considerations to ensure client satisfaction and achievement of the scope of work.

High PriorityQualifications:Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent work experience/ Architecture or Interior Design preferredThree (3+) or more years of experience with facility management / Project ManagementThree (5+) or more years of experience in the relocation / move industryThree (3+) or more years of experience with furniture / interior design projects**Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance with the Federal Government**AutoCAD experience is required for this roleProject Manager and/or Program Manager Certification
