SEC Reporting Consultant

Our client, a technology company, is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Consultant. This role involves preparing and filing 10K reports, managing financial footnotes, and supporting year-end activities. The position offers flexibility with options for 100% remote work or a hybrid setup in San Jose, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to critical financial reporting processes.Responsibilities:Prepare cash flow statements.Rollover the prior year 10K and worksheets to prepare a shell document.Compile financial footnotes and collect supporting workpapers from accounting teams.Research disclosure requirements for new footnotes required for the current year.Tie-out interim versions of the document.Assist in other year-end related activities.Requirements:Experience working independently to prepare and file 10K reports.Strong preference for Workiva experience.Experience writing and reviewing footnote disclosures.Strong preference for experience in preparing cash flow statements.Ability to assist with technical accounting activities is a plus, but not required.Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
