We are looking for a Quality Compliance Principal Specialist to join our Quality team, responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality system standards throughout our organization. This role will oversee QMS and regulatory audits, both for customers and internally. Responsibilities include developing policies and procedures, creating work instructions, and proactively maintaining compliance within our quality systems while addressing any identified gaps.

What You Will Do:

Management of quality management system per AS9100 and Collins requirements

FAA Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) focal point and coordinator and New Product Airworthiness Certification

Coordinate and lead Regulatory Compliance Self-Assessments and Regulatory Audits

FAA/EASA/CAAC Repair Station Chief Inspector leading certificated repairman in support of repair, inspection and return to service product certification

Issues, manages, facilitates and approves internal and external corrective actions

Quality representative coordinating regulatory compliance with civil aviation authorities and customer quality interface.

Responsible for department quality metrics/KPIs and presentations on that data

Assists with training and onboarding new hire employees

Qualifications You Must Have:

Prior FAA background

Must be able to pull data, create spreadsheets, and chart and graph data

Must be fluent in Excel and PowerPoint to pull and present data to department leadership

Must be familiar with corrective action tool, Oasis

Quality Management System background

Must be familiar with ERP/MRP systems

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience using Tableau

Experience using SAP

Experience working in corrective action management system (ETQ)

Knowledge of regulatory requirements

Onsite:

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
