Software Engineering Manager, YouTube Android Performance

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).7 years of experience with Android application development.5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products.3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.Experience driving large cross-product projects, driving strategy and creating roadmaps.Experience working on performance analysis, optimization and running experiments.Experience in server and mobile projects.Ability to influence teams across organizational boundaries.Excellent project management and execution skills.About the job:At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
