Minimum Qualifications:MBA degree or equivalent work experience15+ years of experience with 7+ years of technical product management experience in a related industry, and 5+ years of direct management experienceKnowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiencesDemonstrated experience translating customer needs and product opportunities into innovative and detailed product requirements for business applications with large and diverse customer bases and business use casesJob Overview:Product head owns the transformation of knowledge management services AWS re: Post and AWS re: Post Private into Collaborative Intelligence Technology (CIT) where humans and AI will collaborate to build collective wisdom. Owns the vision and three-year planning for CIT services including AWS re: Post, AWS re: Post Private, and internal data and knowledge services. They will drive adoption among target customer segments and customer success.Key Responsibilities:As the Head of Product, you will define the strategic vision and own the long-term roadmap for major suites of technology products with company-wide impact. Working with technical teams, you will use your product domain expertise, customer obsession, and ownership of the end-to-end product development cycle (customer engagements, stakeholder buy-ins and requirements definition, CX design, compliance, feature definition and prioritization, product messaging, go-to-market strategies, and post-launch closed-loop feedback mechanisms) to lead products and teams through strategic and technical ambiguity to ultimate success. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market and technical and business outcomes, clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes.Beyond a strong technical background and proven track record of product management, a successful candidate will have experience driving strategy and influencing executive leadership. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, someone that approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and a person that dives below the surface to identify the root cause and "so what" rather than just superficial trends. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.About the Team:The Collaborative Intelligence Technology (CIT) organization currently caters to a range of customers, including AWS Managed Services (AMS) customers utilizing Self-Service Reports (SSR), public developers accessing self-service knowledge articles and community-generated knowledge on AWS re: Post, AWS Support frontline operations teams and Kumo product teams consuming actionable insights through self-service dashboards, Real-Time Metrics (RTM) dashboards, Kumo page-0 metrics, and on-demand analytics. Additionally, AWS customer-facing employees use AWS Guide for internal collaboration and self-service knowledge to solve customer problems. Lastly, AWS re: Post Private, a customer enablement service for Enterprise Support (ES) and Enterprise On-Ramp (EOP) customers.Compensation:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $179,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $309,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.This position will remain posted until filled.
