Chief Digital Officer

to join our Executive Leadership Team in leading FRFCU forward in our purpose to help make a difference in peoples’ lives!

Your Purpose

As the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey. You will lead and develop strategic digital initiatives, driving a digital first culture to enhance member experience, optimize operations and create new business value. Collaborating with the Credit Union Executive Management Team, you will provide a strategic vision focused on digital strategy and transformation, overseeing IT operations to maximize data collection and reporting effectiveness.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead digital initiatives to enhance member experience (MX), operational efficiency, and data collection.

Develop and implement digital strategies aligned with our organizational goals.

Research, identify, and evaluate emerging digital trends and technologies that align with the Credit Union's technology initiatives.

Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve digital offerings, personalize member digital experiences and enhance organizational processes.

Collaborate with business unit leaders to implement digital solutions to drive business growth and increase efficiency.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Credit Union policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work with all business unit leaders to drive digital transformation directly through all areas of the Credit Union.

Enhance data collection and reporting organization-wide.

Measure ROI for digital strategies and initiatives.

Prepare, maintain, and implement IT policies ensuring compliance.

Serve as the primary liaison with the core financial processing vendor and other key vendors.

Foster a positive work environment that promotes skill development and employee engagement.

Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

Qualifications and Experience

Working knowledge of the latest digital technologies (AI, blockchain, cloud computing, RPA, data analytics).

Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into digital initiatives.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Extensive knowledge of banking practices and regulatory requirements.

Proven track record of implementing successful digital products, services, or platforms.

Minimum ten years of progressively responsible management experience preferably in a financial institution, with at least five years in a senior management capacity.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related field, an MBA is preferred. A PMP Certification would be a plus.
