Overview of Job Description

The Chief Revenue Officer is a senior executive position responsible for driving and managing the company’s revenue streams. The Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue growth and profitability. This includes setting pricing, managing sales and distribution channels.

The Chief Revenue Officer will be the leader of the sales team and will set the overall direction for the company’s revenue. This includes setting sales targets, creating sales plans, and developing strategies to increase market share.

The Chief Revenue Officer will establish relationships with key accounts, distributors, and customers and will be responsible for driving customer loyalty and satisfaction.

The Chief Revenue Officer will be expected to keep up to date with trends in the industry and to identify opportunities to maximize sales and profitability. This position requires excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to lead a team and collaborate with other departments.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue growth and profitability across all beverage categories.

Set pricing, manage sales and distribution channels.

Establish relationships with key accounts, distributors, and customers for all beverage lines.

Drive customer loyalty and satisfaction for all beverage categories.

Keep up to date with trends in the beverage industry and identify opportunities to maximize sales and profitability.

Lead the sales and marketing teams and collaborate with other departments.

Analyze data, develop reports, and present key insights to senior management.

Manage budget and resources to meet revenue goals for all beverage categories.

Develop marketing plans and strategies to increase market share across beverage lines.

Partner with senior leadership to execute the current corporate strategic plan and develop additional plans.

Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of the company’s revenue-generating departments.

Coach and professionally develop sales leadership to drive business growth across all customer segments and lead the marketing department for improving strategy and customer experience.

Collaborate with teams to maximize Tractor’s reach and efficiency by adding new, scalable strategic partners.

Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth.

Role Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years of experience in high turn CPG corporate or beverage sales environment with a preference for roles in Food Services Sales Management required, Master’s Degree preferred.

Demonstrated and advanced financial acumen, strategic thinking, project management, and negotiating skills are critical.

Ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers.

Flexibility to independently travel up to 25%-50% of the time to supplier locations/plants, industry conferences, and leadership meetings.

Adept at using data to make sound predictive decisions, forecasts, full P & L to report to stakeholders and leadership team.

Extensive knowledge of market trends and customer needs.

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to set and achieve sales goals and objectives.

Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Management experience, having successfully built, hired, and led a geographically diverse team of early career and experienced professionals.

Recent experience operating in an early-stage company, with a demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats, respond to evolving demands and react to a constantly changing marketplace.

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a strong executive presence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $275,000.00 per year
