The Senior Manager, Product & Product Communications, will support communications for Regeneron’s Internal Medicine therapeutic areas, including ophthalmology, obesity, cardiovascular disease and other emerging areas of interest. This role reports into the Senior Director and communications lead for Internal Medicine and will be an integral part of our Corporate Affairs Team. Top candidates should have deep experience in, and be adept at, bringing multi-platform, science-driven communications programs to life – from science-driven data communications to broad unbranded and branded programs that educate and empower patient and healthcare professional audiences.
A typical day may include the following:
Partnering with Commercial, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy and other cross-functional teams on disease awareness, pipeline communications, launch preparedness, post-market engagement, and portfolio thought leadership.
Developing and managing external communications around medical congresses, data and regulatory milestones, and product launches.
Leveraging innovative digital and social media strategies to educate external audiences, in keeping with all regulatory and legal guidelines.
Anticipating and effectively responding to potential issues.
Working with larger Corporate Affairs team to support internal and external reputation-building efforts, including media engagement.
Bringing deep communications experience and industry knowledge to Regeneron to effectively: serve as a strategic counselor to internal stakeholders, navigate and influence matrixed structures, add value with innovative strategy-driven ideas, inspire agency partners, and manage associated resources and budget.

Experience leading creative PR programming directed towards consumers and healthcare professionals.

Understanding of the regulatory, commercial, and legal landscape governing pharmaceutical product communications.
Experience in product and/or pipeline communications in-house or at an agency.
Experience working with best-in-class biotechnology/pharmaceutical therapies across disease areas.
Passion for science and patient impact, with a curiosity and desire to learn.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant communications experience, including proven expertise in product and/or pipeline communications. Ability to be onsite at least 3 days a week.
