We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Leave of Absence Specialist to join our Member Services Team (HR) team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience managing employee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, CFRA, WC, ADA, PLOA, and other leave- related provisions. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of federal and state leave laws, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.Key Responsibilities:Manage Leave Requests: Oversee and coordinate the administration of various types of employee leaves, while being responsible for the identification of appropriate leave options, tracking usage, and the communication of expectations with employees & managers during the leave process.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all leave requests and approvals, ensuring that any deviations or modifications from leaves are communicated and approved by the Regional Director.Employee Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave expectations, providing timely and concise information to employees about their leave entitlements and ongoing responsibilities during their absence.Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on leave usage, trends, and compliance. Escalate and communicate any ongoing leave issues, challenges, or suspected misuse of time. Analyze data to identify patterns and recommend improvements to leave management processes.Problem Resolution: Address and resolve complex leave issues and disputes. Investigate and respond to employee concerns related to leave policies and procedures.Qualifications:Experience: 2-4 years of experience in leave of absence administration or a related HR role.Knowledge: Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, WC, and state leave laws.Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to explain complex leave policies in a clear and concise manner.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems. Experience with leave management software is a plus.Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Additional Requirements:Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality and integrity.What We Can Offer You for All Your Hard Work:$27.00
