We are looking for a “Software Test Engineer II“ to be a part of this dynamic and high-impact team.As a Software Test Engineer II, you will provide technical guidance for the development and execution of manual and automated test procedures.Responsibilities

Define guidelines for writing manual tests and implement coding practices for automated tests.Coordinate technical discussions and problem-solving for software projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Coach other engineers on best practices and new technologies and review test designs and test scripts.You will be a key interface between the software test team and other cross-functional teams. You will provide timely reports for verification activities to management.Test the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software.Develop and execute test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.Ensure software applications or systems software meet technical and functional requirements.Perform workflow analysis, document test results, and recommend quality improvements.Work with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.Review test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.Physical Job Requirements

PR) locations (USD): 79,200 - 118,800. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).About Medtronic
