We are looking for a Software Test Engineer II to be a part of this dynamic and high-impact team. As a Software Test Engineer II, you will provide technical guidance for the development and execution of manual and automated test procedures.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Define guidelines for writing manual tests and implement coding practices for automated tests.Coordinate technical discussions and problem-solving for software projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Coach other engineers on best practices and new technologies and review test designs and test scripts.You will be a key interface between the software test team and other cross-functional teams, providing timely reports for verification activities to management.Test the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software.Develop and execute test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.Ensure software applications or systems software meet technical and functional requirements.Perform workflow analysis, document test results, and recommend quality improvements.Work with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.Review test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering or Sciences field.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.Nice to Have:Experience in at least one programming language, e.g., Java, C, C++, Python using an embedded development environment.Experience in both white box and black box testing.Solid hands-on experience with automated, semi-automated, and manual testing.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
