Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Analytics Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure and analytical solutions to support our company’s needs. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in various programming languages and tools.
About the role
Data Modeling and Architecture:
Assist with the design and implementation of scalable data models and architecture to support the storage, retrieval, and analysis of large volumes of data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data models and technical specifications.
Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into our data warehouse or analytical systems.
Optimize ETL workflows for performance, reliability, and data quality.
Data Analysis and Visualization:
Work closely with business teams to understand analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for real-time or batch processing, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Create interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize the performance of data infrastructure and analytical solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve query performance, data processing speed, and resource utilization.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to enhance our data capabilities and drive business value.
About you
3-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Proven experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
