Experienced Landscape Architect

SWA is an award-winning, international landscape architecture, planning, and urban design firm with offices in California, Texas, New York and Shanghai. We are currently seeking talented, design-oriented landscape architect to fulfill a substantial role in our Laguna Beach studio. Our work is recognized for its visionary aesthetics, exceptional functionality, keen understanding of social design, and strong emphasis on environmental sustainability. Applicant must have 3 to 5 years’ professional experience.Minimum Requirements:1. Degree in Landscape Architecture2. Strong design & hand sketching skills3. Proficiency with Auto CAD, BIM, Sketch-Up, Lumion, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other advanced rendering platforms4. Demonstrated ability in Construction Documents and Specifications5. Project management/project coordination6. Strong communication skills7. Attention to detail8. Effective time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at a time, meet strict deadlines, with problem solving skills9. General familiarity with the practices of an international design firmSuccessful candidates will work in a project team environment during all phases of design, from conceptual design through construction observation. Candidates should be innovative, have strong ideas, a responsible work ethic, and be proficient in hand and digital graphics. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with clients, sub-consultants, and peers in a responsible and professional manner.SWA is a 100% employee-owned, design-first group practice.
