Sellers gain access to Prime and non-Prime customers worldwide while they free up their resources to focus on what they do best.We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst III (L6) to become a key member of the growing Seller Insights and Planning team. The team provides critical analysis of our business WW and inspects opportunities to improve down to the seller level. We work with partner teams in all marketplaces, including product, finance and business intelligence teams, to drive improvements which help our sellers and our FBA business to grow.As a key leader on the team, you will be responsible for driving analysis and insights to help make high-impact business decisions. We are focused on your success and want to build future leaders within Amazon - as a result, you will be looked to for leadership above and beyond data and reporting. You will develop deep expertise in our sellers, develop new perspectives and drive recommendations for how to improve the business. This will be done on top of developing metrics, building reporting capabilities, creating new Quicksite capabilities and conducting analysis in ways that meet the fast changing needs of our business. You will act as a key partner to teams around the world, and will build trust with those partners by providing actionable insights to help improve their business. You will also partner closely with Program Managers within the team who will work to drive actions resulting from your insights.The successful candidate will have relevant experience and proficiency in data analytics, working with large data sets, extracting and transforming data using various tools and technologies and building advanced data pipelines. They will be responsible for transforming data into actionable business insights, making it readily accessible and available for stakeholders worldwide. They will use data to support ideas, drive actionable outcomes, and identify unique ways to present complex information in an easy to consume format. They will be passionate about finding root causes, trends, and patterns and how they impact the business. They will draw inferences and conclusions, create dashboards and visualizations of processed data. They will have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with leadership and product owners to understand key business questions and build reports that enable the organization to answer those questions quickly and accurately. They will be very comfortable juggling competing priorities, handling ambiguity and working in new domains and datasets. They will thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment on highly visible projects and initiatives.Key job responsibilitiesPartner with WW FBA teams (and beyond) to identify opportunities, take action and track resultsCreate automated reports and dashboards with a combination of BI tools such as Tableau and QuicksiteProvide data support for business and cross-functional partners to support Business Cadence reports and address escalationsUncover trends and correlations through mining and analysis to develop insights that can help stakeholders to make effective decisionsAbout The TeamOver the last several years, sellers have enjoyed strong business growth with FBA shipping more than half of all products offered by Amazon. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
