Job Title: Program ManagerClearance Required: US Citizen, Secret ClearanceWork Location: Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite in Washington, DC; 2 days/week remoteAlpha Omega is seeking a qualified Program Manager (PM) that will have overall delivery responsibility of the tasks and activities to include Contractor team performance and issue resolution. The PM will factor in all inputs to derive a recommended approach based on factors including prioritization and subject matter expertise, technical and business information, risk management, and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrate and implement Project Management best practices in an Agile environment that reduce risks and improve service delivery.Manage, mentor and lead an Agile Program with multiple work streams, components, and customers.Define solutions that cross business and technical boundaries, that result in IT maturity and customer satisfaction.Monitor program execution to identify obstacles and deviations from plan and takes corrective action as needed.Conduct continuous risk assessment and management including developing measures to reduce risk in program execution.Demonstrate contract management, budgeting, and resource allocation, including management of subcontractor personnel.Oversee, implement and execute configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation.Responsible for overall program management activities that include but not limited to finance management, reporting, meetings and other activities as identified.Ensure timely communications across the program that include daily oral and written statuses.Monitor and manage workload and resources. Work with government to identify priorities, ensure resource balancing, set expectations, track and report on progress, and manage risks.Accountable for overall program success, takes a proactive independent approach to mitigate issues, ensure performance goals are met, and meet contract and corporate objectives.Required Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience.

Experience/Skills:Minimum Years of Overall Experience: Twelve (12) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment leading major systems support and integration efforts across a mixed platform.Minimum Years of Specific Experience in Field: 5 or more years of relevant experience working in Federal Government.Strong and effective verbal and communications skills.Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated experience and understanding of U.S. Department of State (DOS) IT environments, processes, and agile development methodologies as well as working within the DOS Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC).Required Certifications:An active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification.ITIL v3 or higher.Preferred Certifications:Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP).Agile or Professional Coaching certification.Benefit Information:Joining the Alpha Omega team entitles you to participate in all retirement benefits, plans of deferred compensation, health and insurance benefits, and other such benefits as set forth in the company's policy and benefits manuals.
