Staff Accountant ($70,000/yr + bonus + hybrid)
About The Opening
Competitive compensation up to $70k-$75k with 10% annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package including 100% coverage for health, dental, and vision insuranceHybrid work arrangement: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in office; Wednesday and Friday remoteConvenient location near the Green Line with free parking available
Responsibilities
Assist in processing accounting functions such as general ledger/financial reporting, lease administration, and treasury managementReview leases, amendments, and license agreements and ensure accuracy of lease data entered in YardiHandle accounts payable invoice processing, scheduling, and research, including new vendor setupConduct lease abstracting and track critical dates and obligations from lease execution through expirationAssist with financial statement workpaper preparation, monthly and quarterly reporting packages, and annual audit and tax returns packagesSupport implementation of system automation projects and provide administrative assistance with group deadlines and process completion
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance1-2 years of real estate accounting experienceProficiency in Yardi or equivalent software, paperless AP systems preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and work independently or as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and ability to decipher information within commercial real estate leases
