As a
Senior Staff Accountant , you will report directly to the Controller and work alongside a motivated and independent accounting team. You'll have the opportunity to participate in process improvement projects and advance your career within the company.
Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior managementMaintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and complianceConduct month-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals, to facilitate timely financial reportingFile and review tax forms with federal, state and local agencies to ensure regulatory compliance
Senior Staff Accountant Requirements:3+ years of general ledger accounting experience requiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics highly preferred4+ years of experience with a large ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite or Great PlainsAbility to run the month end close process independentlyAbility to analyze and interpret complex financial information applying advanced accounting principles and your strong understanding of GAAPKnowledge of general ledger chart of accounts and expense coding
