Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial analysisPrepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies and accounting standardsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and financial integrityUtilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data, create detailed reports and provide insights to managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for accurate financial reporting and support business operationsAssist in audit preparation, ensuring that all required documentation is accurate and readily availableContribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness
Staff Accountant Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field2+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on month-end close functionsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and perform detailed data analysisStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standardsExcellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environmentProactive and adaptable, with a willingness to contribute to a rapidly changing and growing team
