Join Yardi’s 24x7x365 Cloud Services team as a Security Engineer I, where you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to ensure the security of Yardi’s Cloud and Corporate environments. You’ll work as part of a global team to prevent intrusions and protect client data, while also learning and maintaining knowledge of security standards like PCI, SOC2, and FedRAMP. If you're proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment focused on threat prevention and security compliance, this is the perfect role for you!What You’ll Do:Serve as level I and II support for diagnosing and resolving issues systems that support the security posture of Yardi Systems' environmentWork as part of a global team using team communication channelsLearn and maintain knowledge of the Yardi Cloud environmentLearn and maintain knowledge of the audit specifications of the Yardi Cloud environment (PCI, SOC2, EI3PA, FedRAMP)Maintain vulnerability scan schedules and monitor job successScan and prepare data for use in configuration hardening and compliance benchmarkingAdminister identity governance and privileged access management programs by discovering and maintaining metadata and aggregationsFacilitate threat analysis, network penetration testing, and network assessments to determine threat and risk factorsAssist with responding to active security threats and ensure that all threats are mitigated quickly, effectively, and with minimal business impactDevelop documentation of security processes, policies, and procedures for internal and audit useWho You Are:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, information security, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceThree (3) years’ help desk, application support, IT support, or systems administration experienceCompTIA Security+ certification or other relevant industry certificationAbility to participate in an enterprise 24x7 support environment with weekend and on-call workExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow processesOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsMotivation – you are internally driven and can exercise sound judgmentFlexibility, and the ability to be resourceful and manage changing prioritiesBasic knowledge of escalationBasic understanding of information security methodologyWorking knowledge of digital encryption methodologies (TLS, Mobile, Wireless, Remote Access Protocols)Working knowledge of email security methodologiesWorking knowledge of SQLUnderstanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), security methodologies (NAC), and topologiesKnowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux)Understanding of system monitoring and syslogAbility to communicate effectively with other team membersExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent time management and prioritization skillsIdeal to Have:
One plus (1+) years of experience working with security solutions and technologiesOne plus (1+) years of experience working with information/endpoint/network securityOne plus (1+) years of experience conducting vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, or computer forensicsSolid understanding of information security methodologyWorking knowledge of analyzing, responding, and remediating network intrusions, web app, and server attacksWorking knowledge of scripting (Python, REST API, Java BeanShell, PowerShell)Understanding of common vulnerability analysis techniques and information security threat vectorsKnowledge of security event data analysisKnowledge of Linux and KubernetesKnowledge of root cause determinationUnderstanding of impacts to environment and clientsReal Estate runs on Yardi.
