Job DescriptionSENIOR BUSINESS ANALYSTThe RoleThis role will lead analysis within one of the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT) new product and technology incubators, focused on scalable strategies, experiments, and tactics that help incubators use cutting-edge technology and human-centered design to rapidly move blue-sky ideas to proofs of concepts (POCs), pilots and minimum viable products (MVPs), and finally to scaled products in production. This role requires a highly skilled business analyst with a passion and experience with nascent technology such as DeFi, cryptocurrencies, distributed ledger technologies, and artificial intelligence. This is a core part of a team that conceives, proposes, designs, and builds products to revolutionize Fidelity and the marketplace.The Expertise And Skills You BringMinimum 5 years of experience working in an agile environment on business analysis, creating requirements documents, building relationships with partners and vendors, and working with engineers to review test plans and test cases.Experience with / working knowledge of nascent technologies such as DeFi projects, artificial intelligence, and high performance computing environments.Financial Services experience or experience in an industry that is complex, multi-channel and/or regulated.Experience working at start-ups and/or new product development functions within large organizations.Demonstrated creativity and design-savvy skills.A hunger to work with and constantly learn new technology and its impact on business.Ability to work in a fast-paced and innovative work environment.The TeamThis role is key in helping FCAT and Fidelity innovate on processes and leverage technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence as an enabler of both business process improvement and new businesses.The incubator and project teams develop POCs, Pilots, and full-scale production products to launch on Fidelity’s large distribution platforms (such as Fidelity.com) as well as through FCAT’s own legal entities.The FCAT group solves complex problems with a comfort in not always knowing the answer before beginning a project.The base salary range for this position is $63,000-$100,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
