About the Role:As a Senior Exercise Project Manager supporting our Federal government client,
you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, coordination, evaluation, and execution of a high-profile project focused on enhancing communications interoperability and the integration of autonomous vehicles. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple complex tasks, and a deep understanding of Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) protocols. You will ensure that all project objectives are met while maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities include
(but are not limited to):Absorb, organize, and communicate large quantities of information in a fast-paced environment with clarity and precision. Ensure that all project activities are well-documented and aligned with the mission and objectives.Coordinate with senior staff, customers, and other stakeholders to manage the project’s progress, including the development and maintenance of key project management documents such as the Integrated Master Plan, Integrated Master Schedule, and Work Breakdown Structure. Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.Lead the planning and execution of the project, including the facilitation of meetings, the development of playbooks, master scenario event lists, and other supporting materials. Ensure all technical and operational elements are prepared and functioning as expected.Manage the preparation and execution of integration testing, dry runs, and the final experiment, addressing any issues that arise and updating plans and documents based on findings. Ensure all stakeholders are fully briefed and prepared for their roles.Lead to the post-project evaluation by gathering observations, conducting surveys, and leading the preparation of the final After Action Report (AAR). Support post-project outreach, including communication with stakeholders and the dissemination of findings.Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and ThriveLocation:You will work remotely. You will travel to the US Canadian border at least 2 times.
Required Experience/Skills:Bachelor's Degree10+ years of professional experienceDeep knowledge and experience with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program(HSEEP) planning, documentation, execution, and reporting.Experience managing complex homeland security exercises, with a baseline knowledge of cellular networks, UAS, autonomous vehicles, and public safety practices.Proficiency with communications interoperability and governance methods.Proficient in facilitating working groups of 5-50 people.Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.Some communications experience working in concert with public affairs/content clearance procedures for comms artifacts, organizing VIP events, and talking points/decks for Sr. Federal Personnel.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint.US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitabilityPreferred Experience/Skills:
