Responsibilities:Including but not limited to:
Review, draft, and negotiate contractsReview and negotiate leasesResolve subcontractor related issues and bond claimsHandle labor and employment issuesManage insurance claims with outside counselNegotiate and review labor agreementsHandle disputes through mediation, arbitration, and litigationRespond to subpoenas and discovery requestsReview real estate transactionsHandle bankruptcy claimsProvide legal advice and guidance to the Company and its employees on a broad range of general corporate, financing, and international issues.Assist with numerous issues, including corporate governance, M&A, employee relations, litigation and risk management and oversight of the Company's international operations.Resolve payment/non-payment issuesReview prequalification submittalsCarry out job duties while maintaining Lane valuesAnd other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law schoolAdmission to State BarExperience and knowledge in the construction industryExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to manage multiple projects in a deadline oriented environmentStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasksHighly developed written and oral communication skillsEfficiently manage a large volume and variety of transactionsStrong interpersonal management skillsRapidly assess potential risks, benefits and consequences of decisions, effectively balancing legal and practical business considerations
