Global Portfolio Leader - APMYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will manage the marketing of ABB’s digital offerings to targeted market segments and manage the offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with market needs and division/product group/business line strategy and targets. You will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of one or more digital offerings. You will also support the business results by overseeing each step involved in the offering lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.The work model for the role is remote.This role contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries division. You will be mainly accountable for:Developing and communicating the strategic vision and roadmap for digital offerings, identifying potential gaps in the portfolio, and assessing competition and new market opportunities.Owning the technical and market specifications for the digital offering and determining a business plan that supports sustainable growth.Analyzing market data, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize feature development.Managing the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality digital offerings, and prioritizing product features based on customer value, business impact, and resource constraints.Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.10 years' experience in Product Management in enterprise class software, Asset Performance Management software, or cloud monitoring solutions.Knowledge of software-related business models for energy industry segments preferred.Knowledge of User Experience (UX), design thinking, and commercial understanding.Sound knowledge of building and/or operating production applications and in Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.Experience applying APM practices and methods (e.g., predictive asset management, reliability-centered maintenance, etc.).Candidates must have work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the US.More about us
