This position reports to
Analytical R&D Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will use your technical knowledge to oversee development tasks and to contribute to strategic technology plans and the project portfolio. As an R&D (Research and Development) Electrical Engineer, you will contribute significantly to technology and product development projects by identifying and implementing innovative solutions. The work model for the role is onsite with a flexible work schedule.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Define and develop hardware architecture.
- Provide technical expertise for electro-mechanical interfacing, schematics and PCB development.
- Perform or review routine and complex electrical engineering tasks using current technology, standards, software, templates and procedures.
- Design and develop microprocessor circuit design, PCB design, and electrical systems schematic.
- Troubleshoot and debug electrical systems and components, perform bench testing and support subsystem and main system integration.
- Work with software and electrical engineers to architect, implement and debug complex electronic and software design.
- Apply diversified knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices to a variety of assignments in related fields.
- Develop test procedures and provide support during the testing and validation of electrical systems.
- Align with assigned lead (time, cost, quality) and complete project deliverables.
- Demonstrate sound understanding and usages of R&D and NPI processes and tools.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree /master’s degree in Electronics; Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- 5+ Years of experience in Schematics and PCB Design, Digital and/or Analog circuit designs.
- 5+ Years of experience in Power electronics simulation and testing (Simulink, Ltspice, Pspice, NI and Power Sim)
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in embedded systems.
- Expertise in Electronics Testing, PCB layout techniques for minimal inductance/capacitance and EMC optimization.
- Ability to utilize lab test equipment (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers).
- Experience in design verification and documentation of electromechanical products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
