Job Summary:The Global Techcon Sales Director is responsible for the sales of all Techcon products and leadership of the Techcon sales team, manufacturer’s representatives and channel partners in the region. The position will be charged with achieving sales/profitability targets for OK International.

Job Duties:

Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.

Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

Develop specific country sales strategies in US, Mexico, APAC, EMEA and Canada.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Implement global sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

Analyze sales statistics to track and predict growth of Techcon Portfolio.

Develops, maintains and improves business relations with OKI distributors, reps and end customers.

Identifies new customers and sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for OKI brands.

Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Prepare and administer department budget.

Establishes performance goals to achieve OKI metrics for department employees and monitors performance on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

In support of the Operations and Finance departments, coordinates customer payment and credit terms.

Maintain sales staff job results by coaching, monitoring, and reviewing job results of employees.

Generate, issue, and improve monthly and project reports for internal use and Dover management.

Provide department leadership and communicate company vision and culture.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Travel 75%.

Work Experience Requirements:

Minimum 10 years sales experience within the electronics, semiconductor or industrial markets.

Minimum 5 years sales management of direct sales team.

Experience selling through distribution and direct sales channels.

Skills Required:

The Director of Sales must possess initiative and drive, have broad sales and customer experience in the electronics industry, distribution and direct sales experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Effective and persuasive presentation skills on complex topics to top management, public groups and/or Dover.

Previous exposure to international markets and customers.

Good organizational and project management skills.

Excellent negotiation skills.

Work level experience with Microsoft Windows Environments.

Sound judgment.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or other technical field.

Work Arrangement: Remote

Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00
