Supporting Technical Operations, Streetlights team.This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters, the depot offers an excellent on-site café, end of trip facilities including secure bicycle storage and freshening up rooms. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.

About this roleAs the Project Support Officer, you will be required to assist with the provision of project and program management support services including cost management, analysis, estimating coordination, reporting and process and procedural improvement in the efforts to utilize internal and external resources to complete the 12-18 month rolling work plan for Western Power. To undertake a broad range of administrative duties and general support activities.

About youWe are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:Completion of year 12 with English & Mathematics with relevant industry experiencePreferably 4+ years’ experience in project or contract management rolesAt least 2 years’ experience in working with computer systems utilising project and program management software including ERP systems.Knowledge of estimating, work planning, scheduling and cost control programs for construction projects.Capable of developing and working with complex spreadsheets.Strong conceptual and analytical skills coupled with demonstrated commercial and business acumen.Our people are our priorityOur people play a vital role in creating an innovative, safe, and supportive workplace, living our values and delivering exceptional service to the communities in which we operate.We are committed to building a diverse workforce and inclusive where all our people are valued and belong.
